Democrat gets religion

Dennis Kucinich was a hopeful for Democratic Presidential nominee and is a popular and respected Democrat. He spoke on the floor of the House in Congress and opened his comments with Deuteronomy 15:7:

"'If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the Lord thy God hath giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother."

he then proceeded to blast the House who were considering a cut in America's already embarrassingly weak welfare system with plans for tax cuts aimed at the rich to follow shortly afterward.
