They who forget the past...

This link to a pair of songs by Tom Keally, of the spoken word nights I've tried to foist on some of you, is being passed around via email.

The first is a little bit average - a ditty on the theme of the 'Not Happy John' campaign with links on the side. I thought that was the only song and I was a little dissappointed with it.

Then it switched to track two, called 3.5.3: Siev X...

...I'd actually heard it before at a spoken word night, though this time it was a little clearer and easier to hear. It's subtle and beautiful and, well, what can I say? It made me cry... rather a lot.
