"Freedom" for Everyone!!

Slashdot reports that the US plans to bring freedom and democracy to the Middle east don't include any plans for a robust free press. The U.S. is running its own media outlets in Iraq and bribing Iraqi journalists to make them look good in others. Even then, Donald Rumsfeld thinks they need to do more if they're ever going to convince Iraqis that bombing their children and stealing their oil was actually the humanitarian act of freedom-loving America.
